  • So just remember to place as much care in the disposal of the thermomter that you place in your child's mouth as you do the 500 CFL bulbs.

  • “Media outlets have been reporting on CFLs containing a small amount of mercury in recent months. For perspective, the amount of mercury in the CFL GWP sent out is about 1/500th of the amount of mercury found in a newer mercury fever thermometer, and about 1/2500th the amount found in older household thermometers. That means it would take 500 of the CFLs we mailed to equal the same amount of mercury in a newer thermometer, and 2500 to equal the amount in an older fever thermometer.”

  • I cant tell you how many times iv'e gone into my pitch black bedroom trying to turn on my 3 bulbed non shaded lamp quickly and almost limply punched the bulb thinking ive lined my hand up to the switch and have almost broken the spiral bulb not taking into account the mercury thermometer that broke in my mouth when i was 5 1/2.

  • Those white overalls were leftover from a Beastie Boys concert Bo & Ryan went to in 1998...

  • Well done.

    Norway.

  • I really think you nailed the "home improvement" show style with the dialog, music, and all. Nice work. With all the Swine Flu, you might want to keep the protective suit on all the time.

  • I didn't understand the ending.

  • Most People don't know these light bulbs are full of MERCURY and are therefore poisonous and do have to be disposed of very carefully. I wait until beach day and then the kids and I make a game of whose bulb floats out to sea the fastest
