It is time for a Clean Start: The campaign 2006-2009

In 2006 Australias cleaners decided enough was enough.

Despite WorkChoices, despite being told by almost everyone that they could never win, workers with the support of their union LHMU, launched their own Clean Start campaign. This short film documents the struggle they had to deal with daily in workplaces. It shows the fun that comes from organising and taking action. But most importantly it celebrates what cleaners have won for themselves in just three short years and under the most draconian industrial relations laws this country has ever had.
