Billings Montana Storm of 6-20-19

What a Father's Day! A Tornado touched down near Main Street apparently and the roof off the Metra onto 1st Ave North. In the first part you can see two twisters trying to form and later on you can see what looks like to be a long tail. I think, I'm no Meteorologist. But that bolt of lightning was pretty wicked.

This was taken in the Lockwood area. I am well aware the video is pretty blurry and such, I was lucky the damn thing worked at all haha.

Thank god it didn't hit when there was an event going on..... can you imagine???? How many people does the Metra hold? This happened at the same time as rush hour into the Hieghts? Think about how many people would have been on Main Street if this would've happened on Monday instead of today. As a city we are very lucky this could have been so much worse.

I saw another video that was shot across the street from the Metra...people WERE driving on Main Street next to the Metra as it happened. And it's not like it wasn't clear what was going on, there was debris flying everywhere and they're all 'do de do!'

The funny thing is that the metra is supposed to be a place you go when shit like this happens. It caused a lot of damage. It flooded about 3' in my basement apartment. The sewers were spitting water up and there were people swimming on Grand ave.
