As art it is unique and ahead of it's time but is functional as well?

Of course as a lover of googie the space needle and the LAX encounter are works of surreal wonder.

This mishmash of design is abhorrent and these horable designs continue to be built while the observation towers for the 1964 worlds fair rot.

Yes I too believe people with more creativity and talent should be jailed for their extraordinary ability to create functional works of art that challenge the idea of normality. In that way we can all live is small boxes made of ticky tacky.

The ticky tacky house I want is the one Frank Lloyd Wright built like fallingwater or brandes house or another great 'ticky tacky' is the malin house "chemosphere" in the santa monica, California.

Yes I would like all architecture to be mid century modern, steamboat moderne or art deco and in that way I would like to see them all the same.

creo q lo hermoso de la arquitectura es el proceso de pensamiento, arquitectura razonable, y no simplemente poner un edificio lindisimo en un entorno q nada tiene q ver.. no se si sera q el pensamiento de este señor es tan complejo como sus edificios o simplemente no tiene un concepto q respalde y que le de un motivo jeje .. como si hiciera el edificio y lo dejara caer en el sitio .. saludos :P

me parese mas fashion q otra cosa.. una escultura habitable.. no digo q sea malo.. sino q mas bien intenta borrar la linea q divide la arquitectura de la simple escultura.. tampoco digo q es bueno... jeje es diferente. destructivista? hmm no se en que sentido lo dices.. jeje a mi me parec una arquitectura literal.. y muy "tangible" jeje no se q otra palabra podria usar.. al final la arquitectura como tal (espacio) no se aprecia sino es solamente una estructura complegisima preciosa..
