  • Thanks for this lesson! Using it I can now play a really nice version of the song. For those who didn't get it: the picking pattern is G string, A string, G string again then D, B and high E plucked together.

  • Nice tutorial, Try playing E7 instead of E.

    Arlo Guthrie plays with a capo on the second fret and uses the chord shapes u show here. Only difference is that he plays the E7 shape instead of E.
