Our system of government was never intended to be a democracy. Although many believe that we live in one, they have never been asked to vote on the decisions made by said government. Yet they believe that they are empowered just the same. We are not.

Illuminati me fully will ya? I'd propose is one amendment:

(out) Republic = Public (or General) Law

(in) Republic = Group (or State) Law

Wait, this tips the scale quite a bit! Now the laws are made by lobby and concern for smaller self-contained groups like, let's say, Ohio or Florida or Wall Street or CIA or FBI or Navy or General Motors or Apple or Microsoft or MSNBC or Fox News or.... well you get the idea!

Democracy is like Santa Claus, when you reach a certain age you realize it's just a myth for kids.

This is nonsense. Madison and the other drafters of today's US Constitution were arguing in favor of ignoring the Articles of Confederation, under which they were living very badly, and adopting this constitution. 'Democracy' was a straw man they grabbed and throttled: 'democracy' was a violent minority of English citizens who kicked King George out and fearful of that power, the framers adopted the Articles which were 180 deg opposed to democracy. Our constitution replaced the articles

There is no "Republic vs. Democracy"!

Ask yourself: what people make the laws in a Republic?

Madison, Lenin,.. would have answered the Oligarchs

While many others would answer the majority, i.e. Democracy.

I watched this video a few years ago and completely agreed. Now I watch it thinking a minarchy is just as dad as the rest of them. you can't limit government, especially by trusting them to essentially limit themselves through a piece of paper or "checks and balances" within the same gov't. So Anarchy is not a mistake, no monopolies of force and violence and no one to govern over you. Anarchy IS w/o government, but you CAN have law without government. So Anarchy is the only logical conclusion.

You're right, the Treaty of Versailles and its effects was the cause of the German people's miserable depression. However, it was the Brown Shirts who used it to blame and eventually overthrow the government with them in charge. So even though they didn't START the problem, they took advantage of it by pushing it to the brink to pull themselves into power.

The reason for the troubles in germany were not the brown shirts. The german population was pissed of the bad government that printed more and more money and made so an inflation. And they were pissed of the versailer contract.

I get that a lot. Many people start an ideology fight with me because my right-wing libertarian ideas are opposed to their etatist (right or left-wing authoritarian) or left-wing libertarian/anarchist views. Good for you! ;)

That's correct, I'm a far-right libertarian/anarcho-capitalist, opposed to the far-right authoritarian (fascism/nazism/absolute monarchy/militarism) and opposed to the far-left libertarianism (anarcho-syndicalism/anarcho-collectivism/anarcho-communism) and opposed to the far-left authoritarian (communism/socialism). I just wanted to know if you really have an idea of the spectrum. Respect for you because you didn't get in a principle fight with me because we are opposed in political views.
