We are a republic simple as that.

@XZedong Who owns capital? Who controls the capital? There is ALWAYS going to be capital. You cannot have a society without it. Where your system has failed is that it allows an oligarchy to form by concentrating the power and capital into the hands of the few. That's why your socialist dream fails and always will.

@tehatemachine I assume you don't know the meaning of capitalist.

monarchy best

What a pile of steaming shit. The guy's arguments against democracy are just as silly as the ones that Heinlein uses in "Starship troopers". A republic is not the equivalent to democracy. A republic can be a democracy, or an oligarchy or a dictatorship, etc.
Read up on history! Also the stuff he said about how the Nazis came to power is totally wrong. Read up on Raete REPUBLIC and how people were randomly executed etc. What a pile of BS!

@XZedong "This is just a bunch of capitalist propaganda. " Every society is capitalist. I don't know who the hell raised you but you certainly where left alone as a child.

@XZedong Fucking interpreters.

@XZedong ". Also Democracy isn't rule of the majority. Democracy has nothing to do with voting." Wow you really are an idiot! I should just give you the power of god so that you can change any definition you want to your liking
After this definition "government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system. " You and your godly powers will rename it.

.... Also Democracy isn't rule of the majority. Democracy has nothing to do with voting. It is rule of the people as a whole. It is when all members of a community come together to discuss and agree on laws. A Republic is a true rule of the majority. In a republic citizens, though they don't directly vote for laws, vote for the people who make the laws. A Republic is, in theory the rule of the majority, though in practice it is rule of a political and economic elite.
i just had a democracy exam in my university, they asked 3 questions and just answered what you have mentioned in your video which i happened to see 15 mins before my exam ... and i decided that this is the answer that i want to write down not the b*lsh*t they wants us to memorize and write time after time ... so lets see the colors of my teacher :)
