quel giorno Niki Lauda ha praticamente perso il campionato 1974.. era in testa fino a pochi giri dalla fine ma ha calcolato male i tempi dello sgonfiamento di una gomma.. quando si è finalmente deciso a fermarsi ai box a un paio di giri dalla fine non è riuscito a ripartire perchè ha trovato la corsia d'uscita dei box ostruita dalla gente che voleva vedersi l'arrivo e dai mezzi dell'organizzazione.. alla fine il RAC mortificato per la figura, gli diede 2 punti a mò di compensazione

I was there, and Lauda is an absolute genius and hero. One of the very bravest drivers ever. These were great days for F1.
