Just showing you how to reinstall your lens.

Tools you will need,
An Oven
Gloves
A lot of Clamps (or a tool that will clamp)

1. Preheat your oven to 200F
2. When the oven is done preheating put the lens only in the oven for 5 minuets
3. When the time is up roughly install the lens to the headlight housing
4. Install any screws/clamps/clips that may hold the lens in place at this time
5. Throw the headlight back into the oven for another 5 minuets
6. When the timer goes off take the headlight and clamp the lens to the headlight housing, then let it cool down
7. Reinstall any items you removed from the headlight
8. Add a silicone bead to the seam between the headlight & lens and anywhere else you think needs it.

  • would a heat gu work for this in replacement of an oven

  • What kind of silocon did you use??????

  • @commender27 just get any silicone, all you need to do is make sure it seals the headlight to keep moisture out after it's all put together. The old glue on the lens/housing will actually hold the headlight together.

  • Awsome vid..... I have a 2000 chevy tahoe limited and want to retrofit the headlights but I was wondering if the minis would fit it and how can I make sure they are level before reinstalling them ?

  • @LAV2000SS When you want to level them, you need to do it before you put the lens on.Install the headlights to your vehicle and basically back up 10 feet from a garage door or wall and adjust the projectors accordingly until the cut off line is straight across.

  • your pretty game to put the lens in the oven by itself most of the time they lose there shape and are then useless

  • *heat gun

  • Very cool man but what about the pattern of the light ???? How did u adjusted it ??

  • @kevman77 That looks kinda bad in my opinion, I would rather make a vacuum sealed shroud. It would look cleaner.

  • How about painting the reflective housing inside of the headlight black?
