Roland FR 18 diatonic first time

One of my youngest students try the Roland FR 18 diatonic accordion for the first time. After an hour his father have to promise a huge bowl of icecream to stop playing. Some minor upgrades and that could be a wonderfull instrument.

Hello from Nova Scotia hrmonkar - this accordion looks like a lot of fun - you mentioned minor upgrades for this instrument - and these should be?

I'd like to purchase one but I can't really find any serious reviews.

@garyc788able Yes, upgrades: should be made like piano accordion, with the display on top to get all informations about sounds, editing,etc. registers are now in 3 color LED lights, wouldn't need that if display would be installed in the future. This is one of the first diatonic from Roland , i'm sure that the next model will be made much better, and beside all-EASYER.

@ebach1 Yes, all 12 tunning of it - of course there are all other modes also like italian organella, rusian bayan and others.

Once you get use to play it it is fantastic

WOW that was great. The accordion was nearly as big as the boy. But he plays very well and will be a champion one day. I am sure of it.
