If you had read the books (which, by the way, the movie is absolutely nothing like them) you would see that, while the first one is a bit Star Wars-y, they are actually fairly original. Also, though the first book was originally published by his parents company, mine quite clearly says "Knopf" on the side, not "Paolini International LLC" (his parents company)

That movie was awful. Just plain awful. That aside i never noticed the similarities until the scene with the sunset popped up on my screen. Haha completely ridiculous and obvious. But i still like the books. By the end of it all it goes in its own direction. Kinda.

there is something seriously wrong with this man! he thought the movie was good? Obviously he never read the book!! the movie ruined the whole story! i wont even bother pointing out any of the many thing the screen writer got wrong it would just take to long. it was so bad i could hardly watch the whole thing! and to those of you who think the movie was good, read the book and you'll want to throw a rock at you tv next time it comes on! i think i got my point across -,-

1:16 I snorted with laughter the moment the background musical selection became identifiable. Brilliant timing on that. Absolutely brilliant.
