@PigMine3 Denmark is a socialist country much like the rest of Scandinavia and we love it.
Tyranny? The tax was part of a campaign promise by the left who subsequently won the election and did what they said they would, how on earth is that tyranny?

Fats do not make you fat.. !its true you need fat,,like a car needs oil.. not trans fats of course. but saturated ones, like oily fish, olive oil, nut butters, butter, all non pasturized and organic of course, meats, eggs, fish, are all healthy.. and promote healthy, anti inflammatory responses n the body..
They want you eating margarine, carbs, diet chemicals, pesticide laced fruit/veg and processed junk, in fact anything that is going to get up laid up in a hospital ward quicker..

@scoopyex If you feel I have misrepresented the state of affairs in our society, your probably need to come at it with a more compelling argument....

Since they have public funded health insurance for everyone then this makes perfect sense, persons with bad eating habits costs more to care for and thus it should cost them more to choose to live such a lifestyle. Many of us choose to eat properly and exercise, this doesn't come easy.

@veganath I propose a tax applied to everthing that spews out of a vegans mouth.

Any foods that are processed ie cooked, preserved, cooked meat & dairy products & by-products etc should have a tax imposed as they are not foods that other primates in the wild(nature) would eat, all cooked foods cause our immune system to be on the defense & therefore cause the chronic diseases our societies are plagued with. After all in the USA the health care system was bankrupted by junk foods

Terrible, food police... how much tyranny will you people take?
