@Cypherus21 I run my Phenom ii x4 B55 @ 4.0 @ 1.44V for Several Hours a day, but usually idle. I'll play a game here and there for an hour or two, then it Idles for awhile again. The idle temps drop to 32C and game loads are about 41-43C? Am I still ok? I assume I am, and my system shows no sign of instability.CPU cooler is a Zalman 9500a, and I used Artic Silver 5 compound.

Did u have Hyperthread enabled? Do you know why some with i7 is getting 40-55k on cpu score in vantage?
Tiltentei 1 year ago
@Tiltentei - Yes. They have PhysX cheat enabled or have a very big overclock on the CPU.

@arvutihull
So if you turn of physX you will get around 23-26k on cpu score with same o.c?
Tiltentei 1 year ago
@Tiltentei - PhysX can be turned on only with nVidia GPUs.

Cypherus21 is right. Pumping voltage to the CPU isn't the only way to maintain stability; if you increased the VVT a little, you could probably drop the CPU voltage pretty significantly. 1.49V is way too much, but I still think it could survive for longer than most would expect.

@lolhehe420 - Yes, increasing VTT doesn't help much though, at least it doesn't for me. 1.49V is not too much, it's a C0/C1 chip, not D0.
