An experimental video inspired by countless hours listening to The Beatles song, Revolution 9, over and over again for weeks, both forwards and backwards.
It was driving me insane, but I knew THIS was the piece. I just had to crack it. Time was running out and I was short on ideas. The project was due the next day and it was already 11pm. I frantically started shooting scenes that came to mind - ones that I felt captured the paranoid, chaotic, compulsive, and schizophrenic emotions that the music inspired. All I could hope for was that the narrative would all come together in the end. I stayed up all night editing, fueled by caffeine and desperation. Shot the suicide scene the morning the project was due. It was the last shot, and undoubtedly the most terrifying. I took a leap of faith and this is the result.
A short film project that I conceptualized, shot & edited in one day, entirely by myself, during Fall 2004.
Wonderful.

I always thought that Revolution 9 was a chilling sounding song, and I think you did an excellent job bringing that scary feeling to film! Well done!
