Autodesk Research: Conceptual Energy Analysis

Autodesk is researching how designers might conduct energy analysis on buildings during conceptual design. Notice that in this scenario the analysis is available when key decisions about the building's form and orientation have not yet been locked down. The research video also depicts the process of setting up the green building analysis and viewing of the results within the same environment as massing and manipulation. The intended result is for designers to more easily create buildings that use less energy and emit less carbon.

great, exactly what I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to do with grasshopper/ecotect/revit etc.

cannot wait for this to be released.
