Mike Randall Feature-Johnny Main Ventriloquist

First aired January 1984 on WKBW-TV Channel 7 Buffalo, NY-I had met Johnny in the summer of 1978 at the Erie County Fair-and he rekindled my interest in puppets and ventriloquism and helped me carve a pair of dummy hands-when I became a feature reporter one of the first stories I wanted to do was about Johnny Main-his talent & his incredible collection of characters

Yes he was unique and he enjoyed this piece too! We had fun putting it together. I had the great opportunity of seeing him perform LIVE many times at the Erie County Fair-AWESOME! MR

I'm getting there-in my dubbing from 3/4" to DVD I'm only up to 1990-I believe the piece your thinking of was after that. I do a have a story with Siskel & Ebert reviewing this Johnny Main piece like it was a film-it's a fun piece-I may try to get that on soon!
