Best way to judge a cover is to imagine what would have happened if it was the original. By doing this you come to the conclusion that nobody outside a very small circle of people would have ever heard of 'Girl You Want'.

Good reimagining of Whip It. Devo's music should be inspiring and open to interpretation. If people would prefer to listen to the original then they should go and do so.
