How To on a cheap and simple alcohol stove WARNING DO NOT LET THIS RUN DOWN ON FUELS AND MAKE SHURE ALL OF THE FIBERGLASS IS SOAKED OR IT WILL BURN THE FIBERGLASS AND THAT IS TOXIC!

Cotton balls would work a lot better. In fact, if you soak them in petroleum jelly, they'll last a lot longer. Pretty much any type of cloth would be better suited than insulation.
