From the "Over and Out-takes" special that preceded the (then!) final episode of the Australian quasi-game/variety show "Good News Week", in which Paul Livingston (as Flacco) makes three unsuccessful attempts at shooting his monologue about "speed reading" in front of a live studio audience at the old Global Studios in North Ryde (a suburb of Sydney) on the 13th of July, 2000. This is then followed by the take that ultimately went to air as part of the original episode.

The old Ten/Global Television studios have since been bulldozed and are being redeveloped into a business park, along with most of the business parks already established in North Ryde. The new Global TV studios at Redfern, which will be located next door to Channel Seven's new studios, have just begun construction.

Yes, the Redfern/Eveleigh area truly is becoming a new hub for television production...let's not forget 'So You Think You Can Dance', shot at the Carriage Works...
...as for GNW, I guess ABC Ultimo will just have to do for now...
