This is the best live version I've seen! Thanks for posting! I'm singing this for my Musical Theatre class, and no one else in the live videos I've watched has used a mixed belt for the high notes....which is not screaming.

This is easily my favorite performance I've ever heard! The first time the word "bring" is sung with that extra kick and rasp... it's perfect!

@dgmartino2 Haha! Well thank you very much! I have taken some time off from performing recently - my husband is in the Navy and we have moved around a lot. And I am now expecting our first child. But as soon as I get back to it, I will post some more videos! Thank you again!

Linda Eder did this much better. Kathryn Engelke just doesn't have the right voice for this. To be honest, I don't like her voice at all. She's not reaching the high notes at all. She's screaming. And the dance to go along with it, it's too modern. The provocative is right, but the moves are too rap video. It should have been more subtle, more early Victorian whore. She's got the clothes, but that's it.

@SadisticGlamour While I appreciate that this is your opinion, I must disagree with a few things. 1 - I most certainly was not screaming. I wouldn't even know how to go about screaming with vibrato.... 2. I did not choreograph this. 3. I have no idea what kind of rap videos you watch, but I have never seen one that looks like this.... 3. What exactly do we know about how Victorian whores danced, as we do not have an video of it....
