Im no longer upset that the Tea Party has disbanded as obviously Jeff Martin had all the talent and this album from The Armada is really good!

Armada is the name of the fictional floating city in China Miéville's novel The Scar. The city is part of the fictional universe Bas-Lag. ..
at first I thought the band was named after the The Spanish Armada, specially judging from the album art, but after listening to this song I question :P
does anyone actually know how they decided on this name?

The name of the band refers to the Spanish Armada:
"We were like, what is this?" [Jeff Martin] said. "It's massive, but what do we make of this?" That's when Sheehy commented,
"It's kind of like the Spanish Armada . . . attacking you from all fronts."(wikipedia)
