In the last few weeks, the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control has been on a crackdown to weed out illegal immigrants from the country. Officials from the directorate, which is under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have carried out spot checks in several companies to ensure that only authorized people are employed.
