Orcas are wonders of nature and now, more than ever, we need to help them stay that way. Puget Sound orcas are also an endangered species and that means stepped up enforcement of special rules to view them. Stay at least 200 yards from orcas. Keep out of their path, and never feed them. Check the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration guidelines to help protect all marine mammals at BeWhaleWise.org

I think we do need to enforce stricter rules when it comes to endangered species. We need to take initiative for the wild live that surrounds us. It is our responsibility. I agree with the comment below me as someone who lives by the beach i understand how some peoples good intentions when it comes to feeding wild life can be harmful.

I think that more PSAs about endangered species in the ocean need to be created. A lot of times people are ignorant to how harmful their "good intentions" (like feeding the animal) could actually be. Overall we need to take care of the environment as a whole and be respect of animals in their natural habitats so that the endangered species list doesn't get longer.
