This song brings back such fond memories of days gone by. That"s when smoke was smoke and groovin was groovin. for sure. I love to sing this song, and it always make me happy. Seen him in Lakeland Fla in the early 1980's was a good concert. I will always love the classic rock , hell its in my blood. love and peace

@samboy1288 He got hate mail because of the interracial dancing... It was a different time back then, the 80's there was much more racism that was visible, especially in the south. And people who hated anything interracial, were somewhat vocal. They did threaten his life. I don't think John would ever let those people affect his life.
