Santa Barbara City College Commercial Diving Program

Santa Barbara City College's Marine Diving Technology Program is a professional commercial diver training program established in 1968 and funded by the State of California- one of only two publicly funded programs in the nation. The program offers industry certifications through the Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE) ANSI/ACDE-01-2009 and Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI).

Graduates are employed worldwide by commercial diving firms. The program takes two semesters to complete with the option of earning an Associate in Science degree with an additional two semesters.
