  • this would be more helpful if it were closed captioned or you commented on what you are signing ...we parents of deaf children are just learning to use ASL .

  • @omaeve As I stated in my description below my vlog, the English text version for my vlog is at my website. You can go there. For some reason, I am unable to type the link in this comment. Go to my description, cut and paste the website url and you'll know what I said.

  • Good vlog, Shel! I agree everything you said here...HR people who refused to allow ABC to show their face on TV is because they did wrong and are criminals. Big corps like to hire criminals anyway. Deaf people from all over the world should send letter to ABC to let the man know who stood up to thank him for standing up what is right because not many people would do that or are like that.

  • @MeDeafYes I like your suggestion about writing letters to ABC to let the man know he has our gratitude for speaking out.

I would also recommend that we all ask ABC to do a TV segment, or even special on audism.

  • amen! amen! amen! yeahhhhh!!!! join the PROTEST! good points made about this TV program. I saw it and was disgusted at the advice of the professional human resources folks promoting audism.

  • @ASLElla Yes the advice was disgusting, but I'm glad it happened since it gave us insight on what goes on behind the doors and light is now piercing the darkness. It's time to flush the darkness with brighter lights

  • @TeXaSAnGeL777 ADA is there but who runs the EEOC? Who? Tell me. All hearing people.

    R-

  • @shelpotma1 Yes, it took long time for them to take grounds. I guess it'll maybe take us longer, because we're more isolated than them and now with CI and, in some cases, alone in schools. I guess it's a good thing that it's a new word, so it'll may cut short for us. It'll make us to think about.

  • @DeafPoet2 Thank you. There is a new video with cc, indeed! You can find it under wwyd Deaf, a YouTube username.

  • Shel,

I have to admit that I was one of those who got angry at that show. Your vlog made me think hardcer and I have to agree with you that one is a perfect and concrete evidence of audistic practices, especially by so called professionals, HR specialists! Good vlog!
