Actually! For network safety reasons you should all know that your servers shouldn’t have full access to internet. You can go to your firewall and just permit the ports of the services that the server is using and only that! And as for the updates you can always permit access in the internet like 2 times per week and check for updates yourself.

This os doesn't use my network adapter for some reason.. It says I don't have one installeed. :/

Is Great! How you can switch from the server to a client computer and also restated the computer with out cutting the recording.

I assume 4 months was long enough to get the answer you seek but for others, Yes. Absolutely you can install to a separate drive and select which to boot. I believe the issues with dual booting on partitions of one HDD is hotfixes as of, a long time ago as well.
