Passion in singing and in guitar- even the percussion- this band were intensely good. I like Family too and when you listen to Mike Oldfields 'shadow on the wall - you can still see the passion shine through. Sad as it sounds; i feel that drugs played a huge part in it all.

Well, I guess I'm not an "average" fan, then!...
What the majority's supposed to like anyway?... ;-)

I love your taste rockselector :)

I see it just like you, Jay! But perhaps the majority of Pie Fans has just a slightly different taste. Anyway - it's a gift to enjoy songs like this, "Desperation" or "Live With Me" as we do.

Steve and Pete traded songs, this is Steve, great, the first four Albums, b-4 Fillmore, went rock to country, 69-70-71, always on turntable. In London too, where they were not respected like Led Zeppelin or Grand Funk Bloody Railroad, by the vast majority.
Thank you, theseeker, I am a true blue Steve Marriott fan. He had an incredible voice filled with soul and those great rockin blues.
