  • If you get the 59, I would get 5910 or 5917 as they were oilburners but 5910 and 3801 have operated together many times In 1996? 3801,3642 and 5910 hauled a tripple headed steam up the blue moutains, so just get 5910 or 17 or both!

  • im get more vido of 3801 tomowr and my trix and i look on my paper work for the 59s and eureka is doing oilburners 5901 5905 5908 and 5916 the ones u want me to get r been done a coal burns

  • @3801Catcher Your parents are brother and sister, aren't they?

All the 59s were built as OIL-BURNERS. All were converted to coal burners apart from 08, 16 and 18. NONE were converted back to oil-burners you fool.

  • True, Every 59 was originally built as a caol burner and converted to oil and back to coal as oil firing was too expensive so I would go with 5910 or 5917. The livery on 5917 should resamble what it is currently wearing. The loco 5917 should be back on the rails this year and 3801 should be back late 2010 for trials. Maybe 3801 will be good in 2011. But get 17 as they'll eventually double head.
