See how Caritas works to build peace in conflict zones around the world in this interview with Duncan MacLaren. Duncan is the former Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis.

In this interview Duncan talks about the work of Caritas Australia and the great support for our annual fundraising and awareness campaign - Project Compassion.

For 25 years, the Scottish-born Duncan has worked with the Caritas confederation - one of the largest humanitarian and development networks in the world. Duncan was the Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis for eight years until 2007. Caritas Internationalis is the confederation of 162 Catholic relief, development and social service agencies - including Caritas Australia -- which work in over 200 countries around the world.

Here he is interviewed by Mel Stillman and Ray Lowe, Caritas Australia Diocesan Director for Bunbury Diocese.
