Kenmore Washing Machine Noise

This is the sound coming from the machine during the spin cycle. The basket doesn't spin. The wash agitator and pump work fine. Any ideas?
August 2011 updated:
The washing machine was replaced with a new one. New unit on sale was cheaper than replacing the transmission/gear box that failed.

That my noise!!! I fixed this today with a used transmission, crankcase from ebay, $55 shipped by wholesaleking83.

@ddismuke26 Not entirely, it requires removal of the cabinet, the bolt inside the agitator, removal of the pump, the motor, then the transmission holding bolts,
place in a vice, remove clutch assembly, remove transmission cover bolts, removal of white spin gear, to take a look to see if the neutral drain pak is broken.
OR
Replace the transmission.
