That is our flag right there buddy. what u mean it ain't? how old r u and where have ya been when it was changed? u must have been away from home for a long time. i respect our flag with the blue star in the middle as the flag of my country. i grew up reciting our national anthem with this flag being raised in schools, so this is it. u can hate it but u can't change it. it represents us buddy may b not u but a whole lot of us..

The flag with the blue garbage in the middle is the Woyane regime flag. It is not Ethiopian flag. It will die when this government dies. The true Ethiopian flag is PLAIN green, yellow and red. I didn't even know the current regime banned the plain flag. Why would they do that? Even derg didn't do that.

Ethiopia is a WHOLE and Can NOT be represented by its PARTS. The SUM of the PARTS is NOT EQUAL to the WHOLE!!! Amhara or Tigray can not and will represent Ethiopia they are parts of it. ETHIOPIA is more COMPLEX than what you can UNDESTAND. Its inspiring COMPLELXITY is represented by the STAR in the MIDDEL. It is a shame you call yourself Ethiopian and you are still sining one song. The fact is, there was never been any embelem in any of the regimes before. The embelems were only to represent them, not Ethiopia officially. You are the one with short sight. Bofta, check out the olympic vedios during the Emperial and Communist time. Nothing but the Plain SENDEK ALAMA reprsented ETHIOPIA. That was the same flag we as students we used to hung in school with great joy.

Stop lying man. I know the flag I used to hung in my elementary school flag pole every morning. It was the plain GREEN YELLOW and RED. And the Lion of Juda does not start with Jhanhoye or Minelik or Yohaness. It has been the embelm of the Royal House, since Yekuno Amelak (maybe before that too). The Flag with lion of Juda was not an Official flag of Ethiopia, but the emblem of the royal house. the Same with ESEPA, the embelem of ESEPA only represented the rulling communist party.
