Here we are again full circle. My first contest was the mad scene from this opera, and I had to return to what has to be one of my all time favorites. I hope everyone enjoys, there is much beauty to be had here.

I agree that Serra is much better suited for this role than Netrebko, but insulting Netrebko in such a way you do, does not resemble any civilisation you might expect from an opera lover. Please mind you language.

Non è brava!!! Di più!!! Un mostro sacro della lirica. Voce focussatissima sempre sostenuta e un timbro brillante che farebbe invidia ad un pettirosso.

Ms. Serra did a marvelous job with piece. Her voice does not record particularly because of the abundant high formants that are natural to her instrument, however she brings a great balance of depth and brilliance to even out her tone. Not to mention she has one of the most flexible and agile of voices paired with an EXCELLENT technique. Her command of coloratura passages and phrasing overshadow her lack of a true trill :-) This video is an absolute pleasure to listen to. 5/5
