The WRC needs to come back to Kenya man, the Safari rally was a big event but now you rarely hear about it. I am from Rwanda and the Safari Rally created a buzz in Kigali

Even though its suspension scheme was inspired by the then-current Legacy, it was so flimsy, hence McRae retired because of problems with said part of the car.

However, the fact a K-Car was competing against a Celica makes me think "WOW! You have to have balls if you're the head of STi and decide to make a 660cc car enter the Safari Rally"

exactly and heres why if the safari becomes like every other wrc event in terms of format whats stopping the fia saying ok move the safari rally to South Africa now. i would hate to see south africa get our safari title in rallying for a format that can hardly be called challenging and kenya will get shafted all over again.what we have now is good with the EARC we get our own kenyan rally drivers a chance of getting into the wrc and the pwrc & wee get to watch a rally almost every other month

FYI if the wrc came back to kenya the rally would be on graded soomth roads on closed stages and would have a total competitive distance of 500km and if you were a staunch rally fan/safari rally fan and a Kenyan you would have the same view, But YOU ARE NOT!! your just a wannabe
