  • I am a hunter who was up last year and had the pleasure of seeing "The Legend". I heard this year that he died of natural causes. what a great opportunity to see such a legend.

  • This was taken in Meeker, Colorado... We were up there hunting... Fortunately, this guy was on private property and was virtually untouchable

  • last time i seen him he wasn't in the mueseum joelddias. i went to the DOW office to get my turkey tag and his head was mounted on the wall by the bear.

  • i remember him. sucks that the lion got him. i heard there is also a white doe and fawn up by 9 mile!!!! he was our pride and joy, and can be found in the DOW office on the wall. beautiful animal. I miss him!!

  • Yes this deer died in the farmers field of natural causes. They had him tax.ed and he is now in the Meeker museum. This buck was VERY protected by everyone who lived in Meeker.

  • i remember him i saw him every day i went out of town or even just took a drive though the town he was a beauty and hes missed i thought he was always for good luck

  • shiver me timbers i got footage of this buck too, on the meeker golf course and he was hangin out with that same buck! must be buddies
