Experimental RC Flying Boat Water Taxi Test (IdroJeep)

This was the first time on water with the IdroJeep. As you can see it looks different here than in the later movies. This is due to mods that were done as a result of these taxi-test and some flying test. In this video there was no differential throttle control, all steering were done with aileron. A second idrojeep is being built, with further changes based on the experience with this first prototype.

@DOM5677 The Idrojeep is my design, It flies great, but suffers from marginal yaw stability since iteration one. Has to to with de big side area in front of the CofG. There is a redesign now that will solve this while keeping the looks.

@ModelAirRC The Russians used to have this MEGA big flying boat thing. It flew a few meters above sea level, but really fast. Maybe thats it?
