We let Eastern Sky Landscaping begin our job of tearing down an old wall and building a new wall, patio, walkway. He said he would meet with his crew in the morning and come do the demo himself to save time. The entire two months he was here we never saw anyone but him... he has no crew. He said the job would take about two weeks, it's been over two months now and he's still not finished. He has lied to us from the beginning, he is decietful, unskilled, and nothing but a con artist. We liked him at first, but when the work began it was painfully obvious he was in over his head and had no idea what he was doing. Our yard is half completed and in shambles. Garbage and debris scattered, old fence line just thrown behind our garage, our fence gate does no even shut now, plus many many other things, too many to list. Most of them you can see in this video.

Here is the letter we sent with the video to ABC News "6 on your side":

We had an 2 old retaining walls torn down, and a new patio built in back. Eastern Sky has given us a bill for $27,869.83. We have paid $18,869.33 already. He began the job telling us he would meet with his crew in the morning, and get them going then come do the demolition himself. He had no crew. He told us the job would take approximately two weeks and he will not leave until we're happy. Well.... it's been over two months now and he has dissappeared. We have not seen him since 7/1/11. I did call and left a message as to when he was planning on coming out to finish the job, and that it had rained 4 times in the past week, it would have been nice to have grass planted. The next night, a stranger shows up at our house around 7pm with a bag of grass seed, spends 10 minutes here and leaves. Shortly after that Chad Ford from Eastern Sky calls and says if we have any issues they need to be mailed to him and he will address them as per the contract. I asked him what contract as we had never seen one. Apparently there are some things listed on the back of the proposal, many of which are in direct contradiction of what actually happened. He never told us a start date, he just showed up one day and started tearing things down. All our shrubs and plants are gone. To say the work is less than acceptable is an understment. There are more things than are shown here but the video is already 20 minutes long and in the interest of time, we can discuss the other matters at a later time. I think this video is sufficient to show you our complaints. Please help us. Thank you and God Bless.


Furthermore, his "contract" states that we weill me with a project manager to insure we are happy with the work and everything is being followed as planned, that he will notify us of a start date, care for all our lanscaping that will need water, etc..., during the renovation, At completion , we will ask you to meet with the project manager, who will answer any questions. We never saw anyone but Chad Ford and needless to say he did not address or answer our questions. It also states that "we warranty for one year all material, and that work is completed in a workmanlike manner, according to our quality standards." If you see the video, ask yourself "what quality standards" he is speaking of

just as I thought, apparently you forgot that you brought your son, "griffen" with you on numerous occasions. Should have came up with a name that didn't give you away... again very unprofessional. I'll leave your comments up just so people can see how you even try to manipulate... to the point of making a fake profile and commenting on your own work to try and influence people watching this that you aren't a conartist

Since you opened an account on 11/12/11, it was for the sole purpose of defending EasternSky Landscaping since any attempts to influence me to delete them have failed. I would not be one bit surprised if this is Chad Ford himself, or maybe his wife Lindsay. This is not a game. This is the real world.

Apparently you just don't want to know the truth. All you have to do is ask him if he did this job. Again.. ALL of this work was done by Mr. Ford himself. I am sure that he will eloquently spin some sort of tale to explain the situation, and it will somehow be someone elses fault other than his own. Ask him why he can't use "Unilock" when he himself has it on his proposals? He owes everyone money... including the $18,869.83 he owes me. He is a glorified conartist and should not be trusted.

ALL of this work was done by Mr. Ford himself. Of course he said he had a crew... but he lied. Don't believe me? Ask him...

Of course there is no video because this is the way the property looked when Mr. Ford walked off the job. In his defense, this is his idea of a completed job.

Well..since I been employed I have never seen such work by chad ford himself. I have very detailed photos to show. So cant belive that chad ford did anything but the paperwork. That block work is not chad ford's work

I am a present employee for Eastern Sky Landscaping (Chad Ford). I can most certainly prove that none, and I mean NONE of this work shown in these videos were serviced by Chad Ford himself. Although that it does come back on the company either way this can't be his work; someone else is a possibility. There is no video of Mr. Chad Ford himself, nor vehicles, nor anything other than the financial parts of the services. May I ask what has happened since (it was posted nearly 4 months ago).
