YOUTH AND VISION 2030

An SMS data analysis reveals that only about half of the youth population know of various vision 2030 projects in their counties and nationally and only 24% of the total surveyed group are actually involved in any way with the vision 2030 flagship projects. In an effort to mitigate this challenge of lack of awareness and involvement of the youth agenda has now published a youth fact sheet on vision 2030 which captures quick wins for the youth. In attendance was the Swiss Ambassador together with the permanent secretary in the ministry of planning, national development and vision 2030 who urged the youth to vie for leadership positions and elect a leader with integrity as we near the general elections.
