Ah, brings back happy memories. As a teenager, I thought this was the coolest, most futuristic thing, LOL. I think I had this on one of Morgan Khan's Streetsounds compilations. N.Y. vs. L.A. Beats -- I think. I'm older now, and exact memory eludes me...oh yeah, of course, all those references to West Coast acts, Unknown DJ, Egyptian Lover, all favourites of mine. I think now it must have been that album, compiled by Mike Allen. If you're not in the UK, you may not know what I'm talking about ;-)

I have been looking for this for YEARS. But I thought it was blackberry jam! Then it hit me like 5 mins ago that its ROCKberry Jam. When I heard LA Dream Team as a kid, when the hip hop scene was still pretty new, I felt back then, at 6 years old, that this shit was wack... And it is just as wack as I remembered.
