Still 9.5% unemployment nationally....."real unemployment".....adding in people who have given up looking for work, raises that number to around 17%.
Nieve young kids......socialism has failed everywhere its been tried, Cuba, Venezuela, Greece.......all socialist countries......and they're all broke.
Sad part is....these very "uneducated" kids are going to see the brunt of this misfortune. I guess they'll get what they deserve by voting for a "pretty suit that gives a great speech".
The excitement that has been initiated by such an educated, gifted obvious Leader. This country is ready for such a positive change! Findlay, Oh. is becoming more Blue as I type. And- it is so due to the young Adults on your campuses who have helped in this great change. I am so hopeful. Go Obama!
More than I can count, actually - I went to many, many rallies as an undergrad and then a grad student, and this was by far one of the biggest (given the amount of time) and the most overwhelmingly positive.
I was there, too! A thin line of 50 protesters swelled to around 250 (as reported by a BG student) as the rally crowd left the arena. This is from view of the Palin supporters from the rally (5500 capacity)mingling and moving toward the shuttle, using the sidewalk in that separated the protest from the rally.
Obama crowd was subdued at the outset, more spirited later in response to the upbeat Palin supporters. Friendly debate! Obamas were calling out, so response was appropriate.
