Wallace is so great, looks like these dogs are having fun. This type of sport looks very physical for the trainer while the dogs are getting a good physical workout and playing too.

Cool man, I appreciate the reply. I dont know that Ill ever have the time to spend perfecting not only my skills at disc throwing but the dogs as well so I'll be content if he can do just a few basic's to show off how great they are at the river ;) Besides I really want to try and get a reading to dogs program going here.. I've had so many children come up and want to pet Ronin, parents are always shocked when I tell them hes a pure bred pit, sometimes they even appologize for their harsh looks.

Great video man, I always loved pits but you and wallace inspired me to rescue one of my own and I am about to begin trianing him for therapy work himself. I was curious, is wallace a therapy dog ? or does the mass energy you work with developing in the disc dogs kind of at odds with being a good therapy dog ?

Wallace is not a therapy dog, but Thelma in this video is. They can learn to have drive for the disc and still be calm at other times. I never tried to train Wallace for therapy work though. That's Hector's gig.

Nope. Hector wasn't there. He's not going to be a disc dog. If you Google - Hector Vick Dog St Paul - you can find out what happened to him. :-)
