Francesca Woodman was an American photographer best known for her black and white pictures featuring herself and female models. Her beautiful work seems, deservedly, to be getting more and more attention, all these years after she committed suicide at the age of 22. (On January 19, 1981, she committed suicide by jumping out of a loft window in New York). Her photography has become an inspiration to many artists, including myself. Here is a small selection of her photographic work.
