Thrift Find - Repairing 2 APC Smart UPS 700 Units (1)

I found these at a local thrift shop, I believe all they need are new batteries, I'll do another video after I get the new batteries. Please note, this was my first experience with these and I did not know that these would not power up on dead batteries, I've since done my research into these and understand that.

I'm seeking help for my failed UPS APC RS800. It switched to battery supply with alarm even when the 220V mains were connected. Two batteries (12V 7Ah each) are at 13.4V and seem not dead. I opened the case and didn't notice any obvious burns or leaking capacitors. How would you start diagnose this? What are the common failed parts?
