I recently purchased one from Amazon, and it was delivered with just what you were holding in your hand- no leads or wires or anything. The instructions weren't in English. We plugged it into my computer which normally wouldn't work, but the LED light didn't come on. My dad put it into an amp, and it still didn't work (we were using a cable I'd already had). You got any idea if there's anything I can do?
@ImEmbarrasedDontHate yes!, when you use a condenser mic you have to use phantom cause it doens't work on batteries

@BringBRToTheUK Power up to 48 volts passing though a XLR connection.
Mics with XLR connections need a source of power so require the XLR port they are connected too to supply this.
