What he's saying, my child, is that living things are a drain on the environment. Killing yourself would be the best way to prevent that... I mean, if you think about it, one of the major green house gases is CO2... Well, what do you exhale? The human population, even if all we ate was grass and beans, and road bicycles everywhere, is doing plenty to damage the environment just by existing, no matter how "green" we live our life.
