  • Nice. Any tricks for removing a headset with household tools?

  • The music is annoying as hell! But a great video. Who needs Park Tools? Overpriced crap mostly anyway.

  • use the the proper tool. this is a bodgers method

  • wow!

That's cheaper than buying a headset press!

  • Hey, that's great... IF YOU HAVE A DECENT QUALITY DUMBELL LYING AROUND! Because if you want to buy a set, even 2nd hand, a decent steel set like that will still cost you about the same as a reasonable headset press. Instead, buy a length of threaded rod (aka "studding" in the UK), thickest you can find (M16), 300mm long, two nuts for it, two fat top and bottom plates (20mm thick discs, drilled in the middle to go through the rod), preferably of aluminium, then use a wrench to tighten! Easy.

  • Great idea! Thanks.

  • Nice helpful tip. But wth with the retard music?

  • get a bit of copper pipe and split one end in two kind of splay it out. Widen it out to just narrower than the headtube and slide it in. the split end should be wide enough to rest on the bottom cup. Wack it a few times, it will pop out. Turn the frame upside down and repeat...

  • Thats awsome man. I needed just this tip.... thanks .....

  • Is this an integrated headset?
