France is never lost.
I am Swedish.
If some one said to me:
"France is no longer", I would ride for 17 days, take down a city and establish France anew!
I'm a Viking.
My European brothers are warriors too.
We have defeated Hitler, the Soviet morons and we will continue being VICTORIOUS!!

@alexandreleverrier I think a lot of it was a feeling of betrayal we felt about the French at that time. I think all that talk died down after it was found that France was right about Iraq. However, I never felt that way about France. I know of France's great legacy. As a matter of fact I'm a descendant of the Norman mercenaries in Southern Italy that rid Sicily, Southern Italy, and Malta of Islam. Then went on to victory in the First Crusade. Quite a proud legacy to have!

All nation have reason to be proud of some part of his history and be aware of other parts.
In France we're just aware that we are bad pussy people, the reason is too much talk about slavery, colonial period, collaboration ... I don't say we don't have to remember we MUST remember our felony it but give us some national pride !
How do you wanna make everybody work for the good of nation, europe and world if your not award of your whole history. Thanks thecajuncutthroat !

France, during the last 800 years, has participated to about 185 battles and has won 143 of them. It is a world record and the best ratio "defeats/victories".

30.October 1270 - 8th - Last Crusade was launched and siege of Tunis end by an agreement between Charles of Sicily (King's Louis IX of France who died months earlier) - and the Sultan of Tunis. At this excellent educative, informative and as very impressive pictures from history show, so is mild music adjusted well.

I'm thinking of joining the French Foreign Legion, an amazing unit within the French Army, that has done incredible things. I respect our French allies, and always will. From America.
