I'm in love with this character at the moment, he has so many layers and it's clear his humanity is there, he's just been hurt too many times, the last episode was amazing and this video just shows Klaus's humanity and the only fear he will ever have is being alone but there is always hope.

This video is nice! i cant even think of blaming Klaus..he went through so much..alone and Michael and Esther are the worse parents ever!!!i cant even see Klaus hurt...its clear that his family means the world to him...Gosh if they had ask, he would have given his life for them!! i really despise Esther..The siblings should stick together n teach their "mother" the meaning of family and loved ones. Klaus heart is the purest...deep inside he is still a child who needs to be loved!!LOVE YOU KLAUS!

@Niklaus67 Aww thank you so much :p I know the parents are to blame for the way their children turned out and it is hard to see him hurt, I just want to hug him whenever that happens. Yes his family does mean the world and all he wants is to be accepted and loved. I hate her also and I think the siblings will all join together to survive so that will be interesting :p He really does have a pure heart and that's what I love about him, I think we all love him :p

Omgod this was beautiful!!! I feel so bad for Klaus!!! I hate how Mikael has treated him!!! No wonder he hates him!!! There is more to Klaus when you scratch beneath the surface!!! I hope him and Rebekah repair their relationship!!!

@narutoske Totally agree with you, I dislike both parents and it isn't their fault that they couldn't fight the bloodlust or control their heightened emotions. I'm hoping when they all find out they join as one to survive and hopefully they all don't blame Klaus anymore, I want to see the way the siblings were before the turning, it will def be interesting :p

@narutoske Thank you so much :p Yes Klaus had a really hard childhood and your right, you can't blame him for the way he is because of the way his parents treated him. His father never showed him love and hunted him down to kill him and his mother turned her back on him and cursed him, hating what and who he truely was. I know I can't belive she wants to kill all her children, it was bad enough with just him. She will get whats coming to her I'm sure. :p

Also on his defense I blame the parents because even if Esther wanted her children alive and make them as vampires. She created them to be what they are making them monsters not just physically and emotionally as well but with hidden humanity.

This video really should Kalus's chatracter from the beginning and how he ended up being a monster.

Wow. Love this video I totally love his character. I'm glad most of the comments here think Klaus has so many different layers and I agree. Klaus just wanted acceptance from his father His mother just stand there cowardly not standing up to her husband for hurting Klaus, after watching the latest episode in the show it showed how much of horrible mother Esther is toward her children wanting to kill them all just for her mistake.

His character reminds me a lot like Morgana from Merlin.
