I am in a show at the Theatre of the Republic in Conway, South Carolina called "Broadway On Main". This song is one of the numbers I perform. It is a hilarious little ditty that brings me great joy.

Lisa Kirby Thompson is in the number with me. She is one of the choreographers at the Theatre and the office manager. She put this song together in 30 minutes, the day before we opened. God Love Her!

Great fun!!! It's been far too long since I got to see a real theatre performance. It makes me wish Conway, South Carolina was closer to Perry, FL. I did plays in high school (1972-75) and then again (1988-91), in college. I loved and did everything to do with theatre, from sets and props to a few small bit parts. Some of my fondest memories are of opening nights. We loved celebrating the successes as much as we did laughing over the assorted fluffs and flubs. Hank

I have been doing it for so long that Opening night has lost its flare! I can remember when I was in College I was in GodSpell..I was so nervous every night. My grandparents sent me a dozen roses on Opening Night and my mom called to wish me luck. Its nothing like that now! LOL!! Being in the theater is just what I do. Its a part of my everyday routine. I couldnt live without it! Im in a show right now called Broadway Gems. We open on Wednesday. I havent even memorized my songs yet!

Thank You!! Its such an emotional song and I love to give it all I got. Mike and I did this show together a year ago and had a blast! He was allowed to smack me in my face. Poor thing, he never could make himself actually do it though!

I love food too...I've been on a diet since New Year's Day & I'm dying for some chocolate cake. Going south in 2 weeks & need to be able to get into my summer clothes. Oh for some Sara Lee right now...this song makes me hungry.
