  • hej

Vad använder du för strängar på gittarren?

    /M.

  • @maja63

Hej! Jag minns inte vilka strämgar det var, nickel 0.10 skulle jag gissa på..

  • Hi!

Nice playing and nice guitar! I have the exact same guitar bought for 20 € last summer. Mine came with nylonstrings so when I changed strings I put nylons on it and the sound is very good. I hear you have steelstrings on yours? is that what it is supposed to be?

  • That was a really nice price, LoL!! Congrats!

Yes, steel strings works best on these guitars..

  • Hey John, Great solo jamming in the kitchen. Love the stretch from 3:13 to 4:30.

Can you post the tuning(s) that you are using on this guitar? First it sounds like a full drop to D, i.e. D-G-C-f-a-d and then you re-tune at 3:13 to D-A-D-f#-a-d. Correct?

And regarding you girl friends dislike to multiple guitars, ask her to count her shoes. I have 20 guitars and my wife still beats me two to one with her shoe "collection".

    Keep on strummin'

    ATL

  • Hey ATL!!

    Thanks a lot!

Regarding tuning here, I have no idea actually. I just tune 'tl it sounds ok and then play, LoL!!

But what you say about D sounds pretty close!!

Amazingly enough, I think my guitar collection outnumbers my girlfriends shoes...

I do have a bunch of guitars, somewhere over 100 instruments now... Jeez...

  • hey this one is still going strong and is happy in her new home

  • ...wow... I have one just like yours. And the fact is that my grandfather worked for Levin in Gothenburg in the 50´s and he made one for himself. Thats the one i've got now. He might just have made the one you have. Can you check the number on the label, inside it??

  • I use both bronze and nickel strings, try ph.bronze for starters!!

It IS worth a lot more than 20 €... :-)

  • Ok, I´ll buy a set today. Should I buy acoustic steel strings? What gauge is good for these? I don´t want to break the neck! It is worth alot more to me than 20€, I just love old guitars and usually I cannot afford vintage :)
