This was made using an original V-Cube 7x7x7 core. I had been thinking about making one for a long time. Considering the amount of work involved though I wasn't sure if it was worth it. After all, it's just a slightly different version of the original 7x7x7 V-Cube. However once made I was very pleased with it. It's quite heavy though moves really well. When I finish a puzzle I usually just move on to the next. However I actually spent several hours playing with this thing. For stickers I have used regular Rubik's Cube style in the popular BOY arrangement.
As usual I used my own method to solve this 7x7x7 which explains why it is not that fast.
I also have a video uploaded of Erik Akkersdijk (Rubik's Cube world record holder solving this puzzle.
See- http://tonyfisherpuzzles.net for photos and more information on this and all my other puzzles.
